BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–For all you hunters and outdoor enthusiasts in Berkeley County, pretty soon you will no longer have to drive to Myrtle Beach to visit the nearest Bass Pros Shop.
The outdoor retailer, which specializes in hunting, fishing, camping and other related outdoor gear, has announced plans for a new store in the greater Charleston area.
The 130,000- to 150,000-square-foot store, will feature an Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill, which will be located at the intersection of Interstate 26 and Northside Dri
ve in North Charleston.
Construction for the new Bass Pro Shops store is set to begin in 2014 with the opening expected to occur in 2015.
This will make the second location in South Carolina for the Bass Pros Shop.
