GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Berkeley County Elections & Registration Board has announced that the General Election for the City of Goose Creek will be held on April 8, 2014.
In the polling booth, voters will cast their ballot for mayor as well as three city council seats.
For anyone interested in filing as a candidate for the above listed offices, there is still time. To run, you must pay the filing fee of $300.00 for mayor and $150.00 for council to the Berkeley County Elections office in Moncks Corner.
The dates for filing are January 23–February 7, 2014.
The polling place for this election will be held at Goose Creek City Hall, 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, SC–which is set by law.
People desiring to vote in the upcoming election must be registered by March 7, 2014. To register, you must contact the County Board of Voter Registration & Elections.
