Goose Creek mayor issues ‘Knights of Columbus’ proclamation

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler has signed a proclamation declaring August 10-16, 2014 as “Knights of Columbus Family Week” in the City of Goose Creek.

Mayor Heitzler met with representatives of the Goose Creek Knights of Columbus to sign the proclamation.

During this week, Knights of Columbus members will commemorate both the birth and death of their Founder Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney and recommit themselves to the ideals that provide opportunities for families.

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization.
