BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Dan Moon, a joint investigation by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Goose Creek Police Department has led to the arrest of a man sought in connection with a series of fires that were set in the Goose Creek/Ladson area over this past weekend.
Moon says Patrick Joseph Coxe, 20, was taken into custody on Monday and charged with three counts of arson 3rd degree, burglary 2nd degree and malicious damage to property.
Coxe is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner following a bond hearing Tuesday evening where a judge set his bond at $30,000.00 on each of the arson charges, $20,000.00 on the burglary charge and $2,105 on the malicious injury to property charge totaling $112,105.00.
He is also being held on a drug possession charge by the Goose Creek Police Department. Bond was set on that charge at $620.00.
