MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Who in Berkeley County doesn’t enjoy some good barbeque? That’s what we thought.
Here, EVERYONE loves some good BBQ. In fact, it’s about as common as sweet tea. Heck, the two even go perfect together. For those who can’t resist this good stuff, you’re in luck.
The Town of Moncks Corner will be hosting the 1st Inaugural Town Festival and BBQ “Cooker of the Year” competition.
This two day event will take place at the New Regional Recreation Complex on Friday November 7th 4pm-11pm & Saturday November 8th 10am-4pm 2014.
The event will include the top twelve BBQ cookers in the Southern Barbeque Network who qualify for this special invite only competition.
There will also be entertainment, vendors, Battle of the Banks “chili cook-off,” custom golf cart show, children’s area, and much more.
Organizers are currently seeking vendors, entertainment and sponsors for this two day event.
