Site plans approved for proposed Moncks Corner Chick-Fil-A

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Construction of the very first Moncks Corner Chick-Fil-A is inching closer to reality.

After careful review, the town’s planner, Alison Simmons, recently approved the site plans for the new restaurant.

Simmons notified the Charleston engineering firm, G. Robert George & Associate, Inc., of the news in a letter Friday.

They submitted the plans for the town to review on October 9th.

According to Simmons, the restaurant’s construction plans that were submitted to the town’s department of planning and development on September 15th are still under review.

The proposed Chick-Fil-A will be located at 601 North U.S. Highway 52 near the Walmart Supercenter.

Currently, there are two other Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Berkeley County. One is located on St. James Avenue in Goose Creek and the other on Main Street in Summerville.
