Three Berkeley Co. high schools rank among the ‘best in the state’

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.— Niche.com recently ranked 14,431 high schools in the country and gathered 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents in order to compile a list of the 100 best schools in each of the fifty states.

Out of its “100 best in the state” list, Berkeley High School, Hanahan High School and Goose Creek High made the list.

Niche.com ranked Hanahan High School 53rd in South Carolina for ‘Best Public High Schools.’

Stratford High School came in at 55 and Berkeley High School ranked 93rd.

Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston came in at number one.
