Georgetown County Sheriff’s investigators have charged 40-year-old Theresa D. Crawford of Hanahan with illegally forcing her way into a person’s home.
According to deputies, around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to a home invasion in the Pawleys Island community of Georgetown County.
Investigators say the homeowner was inside the home, heard a noise and noticed the front door open.
The homeowner reportedly saw a female exit the residence, enter
a small dark sedan and flee the scene.
On November 20, 2014, Crawford was arrested by the Georgetown Police Department on unrelated charges.
Deputies say through an extensive investigation Crawford has now been charged with one count of first degree burglary for the home invasion.
Crawford is currently being housed at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
