Meet Santa and friends during S’ville Medical Center event

Summerville Medical Center Pediatrics invites the Lowcountry to a “Winter Wonderland with Santa” event on Tuesday December 9th, from 3:30 – 7pm.

Children of all ages can stop by and take a free picture with Santa Claus. Enjoy refreshments, sweet treats and a few surprises for the kids!

Summerville Medical Center will also be unveiling its new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Pediatrics is the medical specialty dedicated to the care of children, ages newborn to 17.

The new intensive care unit allows SMC to provide children with a higher level of pediatric specialty care including:

  • Six-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with private rooms focusing on family-centered care
  • Pediatric Critical Care Physician available 24/7 for continued communication with families
  • Specialized state-of-the-art monitoring capabilities
  • Family-centered rooms and common areas designed for comfort during the hospital stay

This event is free, open to the public and will be held in the community classrooms on the first floor near the main inpatient entrance. Summerville Medical Center is located at 295 Midland Parkway.
