Donut Connection Back Open For Business In Goose Creek

He eventually passed away two months later.

Donut Connection had been in operation for more than a decade and sat empty for approximately a year—that is until new owner Brian Poston decided to open the doughnut shop back up earlier this year.

“We are very excited to be back in business because it has been a long time coming,” stated Poston. “I never really wanted to open a doughnut shop, but when the opportunity came up, I didn’t want to see this shop go out of business.”

Eight employees run Donut Connection where they work hard to make the most delicious homemade donuts in town.

“What makes my doughnut shop different than other doughnut shops in the area is that we make out donuts fresh every night,” stated Poston. “Our most popular doughnut is a plain glazed doughnut. We sell about 15 dozen a day.”

According to Poston, over the next five years he hopes to open at least three more shops in the surrounding area while continue to offer employment opportunities throughout Berkeley County.

“The best thing about owning a doughnut shop in Goose Creek is the customers I get to meet on a daily basis. They are all great,” stated Poston.
