MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis announced the arrest of 13 males following a prostitution sting over the weekend, led by the Sheriff’s Community Action Team and the Berkeley County Sheriff Office’s Narcotics/Vice Team.
A warrant is being sought for a 14th male from the sting.
Two female, undercover Berkeley County Sheriff Deputies, posed as prostitutes along Red Bank Road in Goose Creek on Friday night.
They were approached by several “Johns” and asked to perform sexual acts in exchange for money. After negotiations were final, other Berkeley County Sheriff Deputies swept in to make the arrests.
Eleven males have been charged with Soliciting for Prostitution and two additional males have been charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana.
Announcing the arrests, Sheriff Lewis said, “I am committed to cleaning up our streets. Whether it is drugs or prostitution, theft or violence – our deputies share my commitment to making the arrests necessary to improve public safety in Berkeley County.”
Those arrested in the sting included:

- Joshua Timothy Tillman, 17, of North Charleston
- Lorenzo Chavez Dawson, 30, of Mt. Pleasant
- Wilfredo Ramos, 28, of Goose Creek
- Bernard Blue Garlington, 18, of North Charleston
- Eric Malloy Mitchell, 17, of North Charleston
- Jeremy Dylan Pritt, 24, of Goose Creek
- Kevin Thomas Brewer, 30, of North Charleston
- Michael Gregory Johnson, 48, of Charleston
- Terryl Malik Johnson, 18, of North Charleston
