BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis has announced the arrest of the remaining two suspects from the September 27th home invasion and shooting on McCrystal Circle in the Moncks Corner area of Berkeley County.

The home invasion claimed the life  32-year-old Mark Conner who was shot to death.

Authorities say both suspects were arrested in Georgia thanks to a combined effort by the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Task Forces in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, along with the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia and the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department.

Grayson Brandt Griffin, 28, of Beaufort, South Carolina and Gabrielle Oliva LaShane Davis Kocsis, 35, of Moncks Corner are facing multiple charges including drug and weapons violations with Georgia authorities.

Law enforcement officials say they tracked Griffon down in Guyton, Georgia. Authorities located Kocsis in Savannah.

Following adjudication of their charges in Georgia, the State of South Carolina will seek extradition for both suspects. Both suspects face additional charges, including murder, in Berkeley County in connection with the recent home invasion and shooting.

“Working in partnership with members of the community and along with our local, state and federal law enforcement counterparts, we have been able to bring this case to a close. The hard work and dedication of all involved is just amazing and I thank them for their efforts,” stated Sheriff Duane Lewis.

Two other suspects are already in jail in connection with the home invasion as well.
