GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Goose Creek Recreation Department has announced that new playground equipment has been installed at Shannon Park in Goose Creek.
The public park, located just off St. James Avenue on Old Moncks Corner Road, is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Shannon Park is one of 14 parks in the City of Goose Creek.
Along with the playground it also includes picnic tables and ample parking.
A lifelong Berkeley County resident, Nikki Gaskins Campbell is an Emmy-nominated journalist with more than 20 years of experience covering news. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in broadcast journalism.
