Dr. Lee Westberry Named Executive Director Of Secondary Programs For Division Of Instruction & Accountability

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Dr. Lee Westberry has been named the new Executive Director of Secondary Programs in the Division of Instruction and Accountability for the Berkeley County School District (BCSD).

The Berkeley County School Board approved the appointment at their Board Workshop on Tuesday, July 12. Dr. Westberry will begin her new assignment August 1 to prepare for the upcoming school year.

“I am very excited to take on this new challenge with BCSD,” said Dr. Westberry. “I look forward to working with all of the great administrators and coordinators in the Berkeley County School District.”

Dr. Westberry has served in the Berkeley County School District for the last 19 years.  She began her career in education teaching at Lake City High School and Georgetown High School.

Dr. Westberry served as an assistant principal for 10 years in Berkeley County Schools and as principal for 3 years at Berkeley Middle School. For the past 6 years, Dr. Westberry has been the principal at Cane Bay High School.
