GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, after receiving multiple complaints from concerned citizens about narcotics related activities at the TD & J Body Shop located at 1218 Redbank Road in unincorporated Goose Creek, Sheriff Lewis had the Drug Enforcement Unit investigate.

During the investigation, deputies say multiple buys of cocaine were made from suspects at the business.

Upon executing a search warrant at the business on September 23rd, several baggies of suspected marijuana weighing 146 grams were discovered along with a Taurus Judge revolver and $1,311 in U.S. currency, authorities stated.

Deputies say a search warrant at the suspect’s residence on Pineshadow Drive conducted shortly thereafter resulted in the seizure of 6,132 grams of suspected marijuana, a Rossi .38 revolver and $1,050 in U.S. currency. The combined weight of the suspected marijuana was 13.8 pounds.

Neville Sealey, age 56, was arrested and charged with: Distribution of cocaine x3, Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) in proximity to a school x2, Trafficking marijuana and PWID marijuana.

Sealey was booked into the Hill Finklea Detention Center and later released on a $25,000 surety bond.

Sheriff Lewis stated, “I wanted to thank the members of the community who provided detailed information to us so that our investigation could be carried out. It is my hope that this arrest will help improve the quality of life for those in the Goose Creek area.”
