The Board’s primary focus is to provide leadership toward implementing the district’s vision of empowering all students for success.

The Board accomplishes this by adhering to its stated objectives of a) adopting and revising- as necessary- written policies that will ensure appropriate educational programs; b) employing personnel to carry out the programs and provide within its resources the best possible working conditions; c) conducting its business openly so as to maintain two-way communication with the various publics served by the schools; and d) evaluating the success of the district’s programs and responding appropriately.
