GOOSE CREEK, SC – With severe winter weather expected to affect the area in the coming days, Berkeley County’s Emergency Preparedness Department announced an additional warming center will be available in Berkeley County starting Saturday night.
Ridge Baptist Church, located at 2168 Ridge Church Road in Summerville, will serve as a warming center on Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. The center will be open from 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM each day and provide dinners and breakfasts.
Transportation to Ridge Baptist will also be provided from three pickup locations according to the following schedule:
7:00 PM – College Park / 17-A Hot Spot (by the Hardee’s drive-thru)
7:15 PM – Bus station across from CVS on 17-A
7:30 PM – Bi-Lo sign on 17-A
