MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Moncks Corner Police say a man was found shot in the front yard of a home on Post Oak Court in Moncks Corner on Tuesday night.

Police say a couple and their child were in their house  when they called 911 after reporting someone had tried to force themselves inside.

Shots were then exchanged, authorities stated.

Police are reportedly interviewing the family inside the home in order to learn what led up to the incident.

No word if charges will be brought in the case.
