Freedom Church Volunteers Help Beautify Moncks Corner’s Regional Recreation Complex

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Freedom Church leaders and volunteers are doing their part to help take Moncks Corner’s new recreation complex to the next level. They recently came together to bless their community and update the existing landscape.

“At Freedom, we understand that it is our responsibility to BE the church,” said Freedom Executive Pastor Robbie Foreman. “Serve Day is an opportunity for us to give back to the community that we love and bring new growth to a complex where we gather to celebrate holidays, purchase fresh fruit and vegetables and cheer on our favorite recreational teams. Our goal on Saturday is to plant 700 new flowers, trees and bushes and enjoy a day of service together.”

The new recreation complex in Moncks Corner is the center of much of the town’s growth and excitement.

Town residents and those in neighboring communities enjoy festivals, a farmer’s market, a park, sporting events and much more there each year. Soon the complex will include football and soccer fields and two outdoor basketball courts.
