Deputies: Man Wanted For Attempted Murder Arrested Near Sangaree

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Deputies recently arrested a man facing attempted murder charges out of Charleston County.

On July 25, 2017, members of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team and Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Duane Bright.

Bright, 40, of Crooked Creek Drive in the Sangaree area of Summerville was being sought for charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during violent crime.

The bench warrants were issued through Charleston County Sheriff’s Office on July 21, 2017.

Bright was seen leaving a residence on Crooked Creek when deputies initiated a traffic stop on his vehicle.

Bright was taken into custody and transferred to Charleston County Sheriffs Office where he was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
