BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–One person was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Goose Creek Thursday evening.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Howe Hall Road near Parker Drive at approximately 4:59 pm.
When they arrived on scene, they located one black male who had been shot, deputies stated. The victim was walking around when deputies arrived on scene. He was later transported to Trident Hospital.
Authorities say the specifics of the call are not known at this time.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
