Driver Slams Into Berkeley County Deputy’s Tahoe

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving a Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputy.

In the early morning hours of November 18th, officials say a deputy was conducting business checks along Highway 17A when his Tahoe was struck in the rear by a work truck.

Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash, according to BCSO authorities.

“Please do not drink and drive,” read a social media post regarding the crash on the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
