Goose Creek Police Arrest Suspect in McDonald’s Armed Robbery

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Police say a man who robbed the McDonald’s restaurant in Goose Creek was arrested shortly after the crime.

On Thursday, January 18th at 8:00 p.m., a suspect entered the McDonald’s located at 109 S. Goose Creek Boulevard, and advised employees that there was a problem with the bathroom.

Police say he then returned to the counter with his face covered with a bandanna, holding a knife rapped in a black jacket, and demanded employees give him money.

One employee was able to make his way out of the business and yelled for help.  The suspect then ran from the business.

A Goose Creek Police Department K-9 Officer, while conducting a track of the suspect, located a person matching the description.

A witness to the incident positively identified the person as the suspect involved in this case.

The suspect was taken into custody and identified as Lockwood Anderson.  He is currently being held at the Berkeley County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
