BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–First responders were quickly dispatched to a fire at Berkeley Propane Co. on Wednesday.
Moncks Corner Rural, Moncks Corner City Fire Department, and Whitesville Fire Department all responded to the blaze around 7: 30 p.m.
Berkeley Electric Coop spokesperson Leisa Stilley said lighting outside the building malfunctioned, sparking the fire.
Fortunately, there were no injuries.
The Moncks Corner building is where propane customers can pay bills and see products available.
The building will be temporarily closed because of the fire, Stilley confirmed.
