GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Members of law enforcement aren’t typically treated to a welcoming performance on the job, but that’s exactly what happened recently.

On Tuesday, first graders from Northwood Academy came by the Goose Creek Police Department to sing them some Christmas carols.

“Such a pleasure to bring our students to spread some cheer and appreciation to everyone at the department!” stated Jennifer Dukes Morales who works with the school.

After the performance, the students left the officers with lots of goodies that barely lasted through the afternoon.

“Thank you Northwood Academy for including us in your tour!!!” wrote the Goose Creek Police Department on their official Facebook page.

Along with singing for the officers, the school’s fourth graders spent the day also caroling at a nearby retirement home.
