BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County Economic Development, in partnership with SC Works Trident, is hosting a Workforce Career Expo on Wednesday, April 30, aimed at helping military veterans, federal employees affected by layoffs, and job seekers connect with top employers across the region.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Berkeley County Administration Building, located at 1003 Highway 52 in Moncks Corner. While the expo is designed to support participants in the military Transition Assistance Program (TAP), their spouses and individuals impacted by federal workforce reductions, it is free and open to the general public.
“This is a valuable opportunity for anyone exploring a new career path or seeking employment in Berkeley County and beyond,” said Corey McClary, Berkeley County’s Workforce Development Manager. “We’re excited to connect local talent with quality employers and help strengthen our regional workforce.”
What to Expect
Employers from Berkeley County’s growing industrial sector, along with companies from a wide range of career fields across the Tri-County region, will be available to meet with potential candidates. Attendees are encouraged to bring an updated resume and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
A full list of participating employers will be updated regularly on the Berkeley County Economic Development website. For more information or questions about the event, contact Corey McClary at [email protected].
