GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Goose Creek Police Department is calling on runners, walkers, and community supporters to lace up their sneakers for the 7th Annual Hot Pursuit 5K, taking place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd.
The event kicks off with a kids’ race at 7:30 a.m., followed by the main 5K at 8 a.m. Open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, the Hot Pursuit 5K is more than just a run—it’s an opportunity for the community to engage with local law enforcement in a fun and active way.
Registration fees are tiered: $35 if registered by May 19, $40 after, and $45 on race day. Participants can sign up online at www.runsignup.com/Race/SC/GooseCreek/HotPursuitRun.
All proceeds from the event will support two local charitable initiatives: Shop with a Badge and Operation Christmas Joy, both of which assist local families in need during the holiday season. The run embodies the department’s commitment to community outreach and giving back to Goose Creek residents.
