ST. STEPHEN, S.C. – A new restaurant is shaking up the local food scene in St. Stephen.
La Catrina Mexican Grill officially opened its doors on May 26, becoming the town’s only Mexican restaurant — and one of the few dine-in options available in the area. With locals hungry for more variety, the new addition is already drawing strong interest.
Located at 106 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, La Catrina offers a robust menu of traditional Mexican favorites. Popular items include sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, and a wide selection of seafood and vegetarian dishes.

For families, there’s a dedicated kids’ menu featuring quesadillas and chicken tenders, and dessert lovers can finish their meals with flan or crispy, cinnamon-dusted sopapillas.
