BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities have identified the pedestrian killed in a late-night collision on Highway 52 in North Charleston.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the victim was Deshaun Brown Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Goose Creek.
Brown was struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 8 and died at the scene from blunt force injuries.
The North Charleston Police Department and Charleston County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.

Officials have not released details about the driver or the circumstances surrounding the crash. Multiple news outlets have reported that no charges have been filed against the driver.
