The Berkeley Observer is proud to offer low-cost online obituaries. You’ve already suffered one tragedy – and paying the high cost to announce a loved one’s passing shouldn’t further add to your grief or stress as you prepare to say a final goodbye.
While costs typically vary from one publication to the next, an average obituary can easily run you between $200-$500. However, The Berkeley Observer only charges a one-time fee of $25 per obituary.
NOTE: Obituaries are also added to FindAGrave.com as an extra layer of archiving at no extra cost.
To submit your obituary for publication:
1. Please make a one-time payment of $25 below:
2. Next, please send a photo (up to 10 images allowed) of the deceased to [email protected]. Please make sure to include the name of the person in the photo.
3. Finally, please answer the following questions in the form below. Once finished, hit the “submit” button.
