On Sunday, several people took to the streets along St. James Avenue in Goose Creek with signs in hand, protesting Graham. The longtime lawmaker is currently seeking re-election.
“We need some fresh blood in there,” said Berkeley County resident, Roy Jessup. “Quite frankly, he does not vote conservative except in an election year. He voted for the two Supreme Court justices who are pro-abortion. They were also on the bench when Obamacare was ruled constitutional.”
Graham, on the other hand, maintains he is, in fact, a true conservative.

For this particular group, they say they support current State Senator Lee Bright for U.S. Senate.
“He won’t be voting on a democratic agenda like Senator Graham does,” says Joan Peters of Moncks Corner. “Lindsey Graham has agreed with the Obama administration more than 50% of the time, so he’s not representing us in the senate anymore.”
Dennis Wenger of Goose Creek agreed.

Graham faces six challengers in the June 10th primary so far.
His challengers include: Columbia pastor, Det Bowers; Charleston PR executive and the first woman to graduate from the Citadel, Nancy Mace; Dave Feliciano, a former police officer from Spartanburg; Lee Bright, a state senator from Spartanburg; Easley businessman Richard Cash; and Orangeburg attorney Bill Connor.
