MONCKS CORNER, S.C.โ€”National sporting goods retailer Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. may soon be headed to Berkeley County.

โ€œWe are constantly expanding, and we are hoping to open one of our stores in Moncks Corner, SC sometime in the near future,โ€ said a spokesperson for the company. โ€œHowever, we do not know exactly when this will happen!โ€

The company was tight-lipped on additional details, including where the store might be located and how many people it would employ.

โ€œWe share all of our grand openings online once we have confirmation from our real estate and any other related departments,โ€ added the company spokesperson. โ€œIf and when we open we will definitely have job openings to be filled.โ€
