BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury, shortly after 8:00 a.m. today, 61-year-old Brian Christian Giesick of Ladson was traveling on Bushy Park Road near the boat landing when he wrecked riding his motorcycle.
Salisbury says he was on his way home from work and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:55 a.m.
The death has been ruled accidental and the SC Highway Patrol is investigating what caused him to lose control of the motorcycle.
The coroner says he was not wearing a helmet.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is also investigating the accident.
