BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.– On Thursday night, Lauren Reeder, Berkeley County School District’s Teacher of the Year, was celebrated at the Charleston Classic, an ESPN college basketball tournament held in Charleston every year.
Reeder, a second grade teacher at Marrington Elementary, was recognized alongside Dorchester County School District’s Teacher of the Year as well as Charleston County School District’s Teacher of the Year.
She was accompanied on court by BCSD’s Superintendent Dr. Rodney Thompson.
“Reeder is a wonderful representation of the educators Berkeley County School District is so lucky to have!” stated school district officials on their offical Facebook page.
