Filing for the office beings at noon on Friday, February 20, 2015 and closes at noon on Monday, March 2, 2015.
Filing will take place in the Berkeley County Elections and Voter Registration Office.
The Primary Elections will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. If needed, Primary Runoffs will be on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The Special Election (General) will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
Berkeley County Elections and Voter Registration Office has not been notified yet by the State of the exact filing fee for the special election.
It is expected that the fee will be less than the $3,990.31 filing fee from the 2014 Election for Berkeley County Sheriff.
