Coroner: Woman Killed in Goose Creek Collision

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on Sunday, Nov. 8^th at 10:49 a.m., 72-year-old Cary Way, of Goose Creek was involved in a head-on collision on US Highway 176 near Davenport Street in Goose Creek.

Salisbury says she was transported to Trident Hospital and died today at 6:24 a.m. from injuries received in the wreck.

The Berkeley County Coroner and Goose Creek Police are investigating the accident.

The coroner stated that there have been 31 traffic fatalities in Berkeley County this year.
