PINOPOLIS, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is sending out a warning to homeowners in Pinopolis.
According to deputies, Thursday morning, December 31, 2015, at approximately 6 a.m., 2 black males, one armed with a knife, and the other with a firearm, attempted an armed robbery of a resident out for a morning walk on Pinopolis Road.
When the suspects attempted to force the victim into their vehicle, the victim was able to strike one of the assailants and get away.
At this time no arrests have been made in the case.
