Moncks Corner Man Killed in Traffic Accident on Cooper Store Road

ambulance BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on January 2, 2016 at 4:20 a.m., 25-year-old Richard Steven Parish, Jr. of Moncks Corner was killed in a single vehicle accident.

Salisbury stated that Parish was traveling east on Cooper Store Road (Road 16) near Queenie Road when hisย Toyota SUV ran off the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and overturned several times.

The coroner said Parishย was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt.

Heย was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Salisbury.

His death was ruled accidental and was investigated by the Coronerโ€™s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
