86-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash on Redbank Road

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, 86-year-old Perfecto Desonia of Goose Creek was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Redbank Road around 10:50 a.m. on Saturday.

Desonia was transported to Trident Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 12:44 p.m.

His death has reportedly been ruled accidental and the collision is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Officer the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Desonia was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
