Police: 10-Year-Old Pedestrian Hit By Pickup Truck

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–On Friday around 2:12 p.m., officers with Goose Creek Police responded to the area of Amy Dr. near Judy Dr. in reference to an auto-pedestrian collision.

Major John Grainger says the collision involved a pick-up truck and a 10 year old female pedestrian.

The investigation revealed that the pedestrian attempted to cross Amy Dr. and entered the path of the pick-up truck as it was traveling on Amy Dr.

The pedestrian was transported to MUSC for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Grainger says no charges will be filed in this case.
