GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Goose Creek City Administrator Dennis Harmon was honored this week for his nearly four decades of service with the City.

Harmon, who became city administrator in 1978, is retiring on Aug. 1.
The meeting was his final regular council meeting as city administrator.
