ST. STEPHEN, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body found early Thursday morning in St. Stephen.
According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, around 4:30 a.m. a newspaper delivery lady found 81-year-old Edward Wagner of St. Stephen lying in his front yard.
EMS was called to the scene and determined he was deceased.
The cause of death has not been released.
Salisbury stated that an autopsy will be conducted on Friday.
More information will be released after the autopsy is completed.
