BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office say they are investigating the death of a man found near Andrews on Wednesday as a murder.
Authorities say the body of Lamar Michael Thompson, 32, of Moncks Corner was found in the driver’s seat of a 2008 GMC Yukon parked on Dorien Drive near County Line Road.
An autopsy was recently conducted.
According to the coroner’s report, the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
