One Person Dead After Crashing Into Tree In Berkeley County: Troopers

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—One person has died following a fatal accident in Berkeley County Wednesday evening.

According to troopers with South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on N.A.D. Road near Snake Road in the Goose Creek area around 5:25 p.m. when it ran off the roadway and overturned before hitting a tree.

The driver was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

The motorist’s identity will be released by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.

The cause of the crash is not known; however, troopers continue to investigate.
