BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman killed in a fatal wreck on Clements Ferry Road near Monica Court.
According to Coroner George Oliver, the driver has been identified as Sara J. Spoto, 24, of Charleston.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, a Ford F-150, a tractor-trailer, and a Honda collided when the driver of the Honda crossed the center line, sideswiping the pickup truck before hitting the tractor-trailer head-on, South Carolina Highway Patrol reported.
The drivers of the tractor-trailer and F-150 did not receive any injuries. Spoto, who was in the Honda, was taken to MUSC where she later died from her injuries.
