BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) announced it will host three South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center Library Workshops in July 2023.
“These workshops are excellent opportunities for members of the community to learn about Trident Technical College’s STEM program at a convenient location. Attendees can learn about programs taught in the S.C. Aeronautical Training Center, including aeronautics, engineering and manufacturing, without having to drive to Trident Tech’s Thornley Campus,” said Gregory M. Cushing, II, Building Coordinator, S.C. Aeronautical Training Center at Trident Technical College.
“Once they get this overview, they may even decide to come on a tour of the building.” “The workshops will also include additional college information, including steps to enrollment, hands-on activities and free tuition,” he added.

These workshops offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) information by the S.C. Aeronautical Training Center at Trident Technical College for K-12 students and families.
Topics include: STEM Programs, Degrees in the Field, Exploration of STEM Careers, Hands-On Activities and Enrollment Opportunities. An expert in specialized fields will be present at each workshop to answer questions and assist students.
