ST. STEPHEN, S.C. – On Friday, July 20, 2024, at 9:06 pm the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office was notified of an auto vs pedestrian accident on Forty One Road in St. Stephen where an adult and two children were struck by a vehicle.
One victim the adult was pronounced deceased on scene from injuries sustained in the accident.
The victim has been identified as Mr. Juan Diego Ordonez Velazquez who is 35 years old from St. Stephen.
The two children were transported to MUSC.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
