DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. — An Ohio man didn’t just bring the vibes to South Carolina—he also brought a pharmacy of psychedelics, too, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Russell Hodgkinson, 51, outside Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island on Friday with a wagon reportedly full of drugs that reads more like a festival checklist than a packing list.

Officers on foot patrol said they spotted a nitrous oxide tank and moved in—only to catch a whiff of weed that led them straight to Hodgkinson’s mobile stash.
Inside the wagon? Authorities said they found 1,070 tabs of LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, meth pills, marijuana, and a dropper tube of liquid acid.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office wasted no time slapping Hodgkinson with charges: possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a scheduled narcotic, and trafficking LSD—yes, over 1,000 doses.
Sheriff Duane Lewis said the arrest happened just outside the venue in Berkeley County, where deputies had been working crowd control.
