GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Bushy Park Boat Landing in Berkeley County has officially reopened after a brief closure Wednesday afternoon due to an emergency response at the site.

Emergency crews were called to the landing, located at the end of Bushy Park Road in Goose Creek, prompting officials to temporarily close the area and urge the public to stay clear. The Berkeley County Government initially announced the closure around midday, citing an active incident.

As of 2:25 p.m., county officials confirmed that the landing is now back open to the public. No details have been released yet regarding the nature of the incident, but authorities say the situation has been resolved.
