MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — The Town of Moncks Corner has appointed Amber Daniels Broughton, Esq. as its new part-time municipal judge, bringing a wealth of legal experience and a strong commitment to community service to the bench.
Judge Broughton’s legal career includes serving as corporate counsel for Santee Cooper and clerking for the Honorable Deadra L. Jefferson, as well as with The Steinberg Law Firm. Her public service record spans roles with the City of Charleston Housing Authority and Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services.
Admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2018, Broughton currently serves as Treasurer of the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court and sits on the board of Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services.

She holds a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina.
